People who buy the knock off parts only do so to save money, and they don't think, nor do they care. They don't weigh the pros and cons, they don't use logic. They only think in terms of dollars and cents. It has become painfully obvious to me how many ignorant and naive people there are who own Z32s. The thread on 3ZC is filled with many AMS haters, but also with people who talk about inventors being "butthurt" and "crybabies who didn't patent". They often compare AMS' actions to those of Walmart or Nike, but can't comprehend the basic facts of customer base. You guys don't design universal car parts, that EVERYONE could use; they're specific to one car, with a shrinking owner (potential customer) base. And for that, I'm sorry, but those owners are idiots. We can only hope that someone buys these knockoff mounts, has a catastrophic, but not fatal, failure, and then spreads the word that AMS really does skimp on quality and materials. And in the end, if that happens to them, I'll be one of the first to say "I told you so" I agree with you, 100%, but that's I differ from anyone considering those parts; my brain functions.
